I have more than 10 years of experience in the different areas of the engineering field including educating future engineers at a local university. My experience is not limited to the electrical engineering field and I have been involved in work experiences that include the supervision of personnel, the design and planning, and project management of different construction projects. Work Experience

Licensed Engineer at Municipio Autónomo de Ponce – Ponce

May 2007 – Present

Engineer and supervisor for the Electricians Unit of the Public Works Department of the municipality. Main duties include project management, scheduling, inspection and quality control, coordinate projects, prepare estimates, submit recommendations, investigations and research, and submitting written reports. Other duties included design and drafting of small structures, and general electric design for institutional and recreational buildings. Development of software solutions for work orders, daily reports and inventory management. All my tasks were related to objective of giving proper maintenance to the city’s buildings, recreational areas and parks.

Electrical System Design: PRASA Pump Station in Mayaguez, PR

The scope of this project was the rehabilitation of an existing drinking water pump station. The project consisted in the design of a new electrical substation and the facilities electrical system which include the main distribution panel, the branch circuits, the motor controller circuit, the indoor and outdoor lighting of the facilities, and the backup power generator.

Electrical System Design: Private Building in San Juan, PR

The scope of this project was the rehabilitation of an existing four-story building. The project consisted in the design of a new electrical substation and the building’s main distribution panel.

PV System Design and Installation: Private Residence in Ponce, PR

This system was designed and installed in a two-story house using a string inverter. The system is grid-tied and is composed of 12 solar modules of 255 Watts each and a 4 kW string inverter. The system nominal capacity is 3.06 kW DC and 4 kW AC. The system features remote power monitoring through the web.

This system was designed and installed in a one level house using micro inverters technology. The system is grid-tied and is composed of 10 solar modules of 255 Watts each and 12 micro inverters of 250 Watts each. The system nominal capacity is 2.55 kW DC and 2.5 kW AC. The system features remote power monitoring through the web.
